Family-Stay in Guatemala 

Live with a Guatemalan Family

Maximo Nivel/SLC can arrange for you to stay in a traditional family-stay with a local Guatemalan family so you can fully experience Guatemalan life and culture.  Being totally immersed is the fastest and most efficient way to learn a language.

Family-stays are all with pre-approved families and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Sunday. Most family-stays include a private room with shared bath, though this varies based on family.  Guests are free to come and go as they please, but they must respect the routine and rules of the family. All family-stays are within walking distance (10-25 minutes) or within a 5-minute taxi/bus ride from our office.

All home stay houses are checked by us for safety and cleanliness and constantly our clients also help us by reporting back about quality and food.
